New smoothie!

Rich and creamy while packed with vitamin c, potassium, protein, good fats and heart healthy cinnamon, how can you resist?

Skin one orange, leave as much of the white pith on as possible
Banana, no peel
6 oz almond milk
1/4 cp almonds
1/2 tsp cinnamon
ice if you like it cold!
Blend in vitamix on smoothie setting, or on the highest setting of your blender,enjoy!

Yummy and oh so simple popsicles

I used coconut.milk and orange juice, grapfruit juice and finally blueberries (had to heat the blueberries until softened) yum!

Fill ice cube tray half way with coconut milk, freeze until hard.

Fill the rest the way with fruit juice, veggie juice, or whatever you like

Freeze again, insert toothpicks if you want or enjoy as icd cubes :-)

The new year

Dear friends, you all know where I stand on New Year's resolutions: what you've been doing already is what you should continue to do, unless of course it's a continuation of already unhealthy habits!

Instead of spending this time marketing to you a new years solution which involves more time and money I want to suggest you something truly revolutionary: treat your body as you would treat your best friend! don't go hungry, don't lose too much sleep, exercise regularly.

Take some time to think about what matters the most to you: is it family, friends, memories? are any of these things possible without your health?

This year your resolution should not be a number on a scale but an attitude you take with you the rest of your life.
